We are excited to be offering a permanent role at our Worksop site within our Technical team.
As a Technical Services Manager, you will manage all aspects of the technical requirements within the Hygiene and Lab teams, ensuring compliance with the site Food Safety and Quality Management System. You will manage a team to deliver against objectives and actively support the site and Technical department in achieving and retaining BRC certification, other third-party audits, and internal audits while driving improvements.

* Sauces - including Sharwoods and Homepride
* Batchelors Supernoodles
* SAXA salt
Our variety of operations and processes include extrusion, agglomeration, pasteurisation, frying technologies, as well as a variety of packing mediums and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are followed, supporting a behavioural safety culture.
* Drive a food safety quality culture through engagement and continuous improvement.
* Manage quality management systems on site relating to the Laundry, Pest Control, and Technical facilities and Lab/Testing as required.
* Overall responsibility for the Hygiene Management system and contracts to ensure site compliance to hygiene standards.
* Effectively manage team and drive colleague engagement through regular communication, performance reviews, feedback, and goal setting.
* Manage personnel matters in a timely manner, including absence management and employee relations matters.
* Work with HR stakeholders to identify and develop talent, coaching colleagues to support future succession planning.
* Collaborate with peers and support functions to drive forward engagement, culture, and performance at the site.
What we need from you:
* Demonstrable experience in a food industry technical role.
* Proficiency in IT and office-based systems.
* Knowledge of BRC standards and requirements.
* Previous demonstrable experience of leading a team.
* Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety within a business.
* RSPH qualification or other pest qualification.
