Overview
We are recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join our IT team in our Chawton office.
* £24k to £28k per annum
* Based in Chawston
What you'll be doing
Reporting into the IT Support Team Leader, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve IT service incidents
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide first line support to all users ensuring correct maintenance and functioning of all Stonbury IT systems using the IT helpdesk ticketing system
* Log all support calls to detect trends and identify training needs
* Run configuration and creation of new users on iPads, iPhones, computers, and laptops in line with company growth policies
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve service incidents
* Monitor bespoke Stonbury systems to ensure smooth running of day-to-day systems
* Provide basic training on Stonbury Systems ensuring all users have the ability to preform their role effectively
* Maintain the company Asset Register, adding new starters, deleting leavers, and ensuring equipment is correctly assigned to users and offices.
* Assist with the asset replacement programme where necessary
* Assist with cyber security initiatives to ensure compliance and certification as well as safeguard of IT systems
* Be responsible for permissions, passwords and account management for all employees
* Providing out of hours support – where required
Who we're looking for
* Demonstrable ability to diagnose PC faults both on site and remotely
* Working knowledge of mobile technology (Microsoft, iOS & Android)
* Familiar with Microsoft 365 suite, MS Office, Windows Operating Systems, Windows 7 through to 11, Network Support,
* Printer Support and Telephone/Telecoms Support
* Proven communication skills, over the phone, via computer and face to face
* Outstanding time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise work
* Experience managing asset and patch management systems
