We would ideally like an ADHD Nurse prescriber/ None medical prescriber that has extensive knowledge and skills regarding children with ADHD. You will be prescribing controlled medications appropriately in guidance with national guidelines and ensuring treatment plans are supported to each individual child's needs. You will run your own Nurse led clinics conducting initial assessments to review mental health, social and economical circumstances alongside the physical health of the patients to our service. Manage and coordinate medication management and be able to provide comprehensive health checks. Manage shared care agreements and be able to contribute to governance and audit process. Ensure compliance with local policies and yellow card reporting, monitoring MHRA drug safety updates. Be supportive in medication changes that need to be formulated to support medication shortages nationally. You will support with workshops and facilitate discussions with patients and families around ADHD treatment options. Take part in peer review sessions alongside named consultants of patients and support teenage transition clinics. You will have a sound knowledge of safeguarding and be able to support in case reviews.
