Our train drivers are at the heart of our operation! Our Train Drivers don’t just drive our trains; they are the technical and operations specialists within our teams that deliver the highest standards of on-train service expected by our customers.
Priding ourselves on safety and customer service, we are looking for individuals with an excellent safety record, solid train driving experience, a passion for the rail industry, and delivering an on-time service for our passengers.
Here at CrossCountry, we work a variety of different shifts, so flexibility is required, and lodging may be needed.
There is no restriction on eligibility for applications except that drivers may not apply until they have occupied their present post for 3 years following completion of training, including examination and route learning.
This is a safety-critical post, so you will also be required to undertake a full medical examination and substance abuse screening.
To apply, please submit your CV by the close date of Friday, 18 May 2024.
After you have applied, we will email you a blank 'Transfer of Safety Information' form, which you will need to complete and return by email for us to fully consider your application.
Please note, the information you provide on the form does not need to be confirmed by your current company at this stage; we would only need the information confirmed at the point of any job offer.
