As a Housekeeping Porter, you will:
* Ensure our Guest Arrivals Run Smoothly: You'll handle and care for our guests' luggage, both on arrival and departure, ensuring everything goes to the right place.
* Create a Warm & Welcoming Atmosphere: You'll foster the Club's welcoming ambience by setting the fireplaces, bringing members their morning newspapers as well as any parcels and letters addressed to them, and assisting your colleagues in Housekeeping behind the scenes by transporting linens, keeping stores in order and handling recycling.
* Respond to Guest Requests: Alongside your department colleagues, you should be ready to respond pro-actively to any requests from our guests and be willing to go the extra mile to ensure their needs are met.
To thrive in this role, you will:
* Be friendly, enthusiastic and enjoy meeting new people.
* Be conscientious, dependable, and able to work unsupervised and use your initiative.
* Be a team-player and enjoy working alongside colleagues in what can be a fast-paced environment.
* Ideally have some experience in a venue such as a guest house or hotel, but if not don't worry - our team will be happy to help you with your training.
* Be willing to learn and take direction.
* Essential for this role is clear and legible handwriting, the flexibility to work varying shifts, and a full, clean driving license.
