Job Details: Trainee Independent Prescriber

About the role…
Are you a Registered Nurse or Pharmacist willing to work towards this qualification? We are seeking dedicated professionals like you with a passion for delivering evidence-based treatments in Substance Use to join our friendly team in Barnstaple and make a meaningful impact on people's lives, their families and communities.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Independent Prescriber to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical skills, a strong knowledge of pharmacology, and the ability to autonomously assess, diagnose, and manage patient care. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and ensure the highest standards of care.
If you are not currently an Independent Prescriber but are enthusiastic to train as one, we will provide the training and all the support you will need.
Key requirements:
* Independent Prescriber qualification or willingness to work towards this
* RCGP Qualification Level 1 or willingness to work towards this
* Experience of working within substance use (desirable)
