In this role, you will combine your technical expertise with your sales skills to promote and sell our products or services to customers. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive product adoption. Actively working on existing Securitas accounts to convert & also seek new business to develop. This exciting new career role will sit within our main Protective Services & Solutions Commercial team, which has a strong growth trajectory for the future.

Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and engage with prospective customers through various channels (cold calls, emails, networking, etc.) to understand their needs and present our technical solutions.
2. Solution Selling: Use your technical knowledge to explain the features, benefits, and applications of our products/services in a clear and compelling manner.
3. Product Demonstrations: Provide technical demonstrations and presentations to customers, showcasing the product's capabilities and how it solves their business challenges.
4. Sales Strategy Development: Work with the sales team to create customized sales strategies and goals for specific customer segments.
5. Technical Support: Offer pre-sale and post-sale technical support, working closely with the engineering and support teams to ensure a smooth product implementation.
6. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, becoming their trusted advisor and primary point of contact for technical inquiries.
7. Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and enhance product offerings.
8. Track sales activities and outcomes, providing regular reports on sales progress, forecasts, and opportunities to the Commercial Director.
9. Work closely with product development, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure customers' technical requirements are met.
Measurement of Success
* Meeting & exceeding targets
* Accuracy in capturing sales data & ability to follow process (The Paperwork)
* Accuracy of reporting sales activity, wins, leads & business development.

* Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
* Keyboarding, computer usage and various systems utilized by the Accounts Dept
* Regular talking and hearing
* Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
* Frequent sitting, which may be required for long periods of time
* Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
* Reading and analyzing reports and data
Experience Requirement
* Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex products and communicate their benefits to non-technical customers.
* Proven experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or similar role within the security industry, IT industry or networking industry.
* Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
* Ability to thrive in a fast paced, target-driven environment.
* Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Knowledge of electronic security market a plus - training and guidance provided.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
