Purpose: We are looking to recruit Psychology Graduates or individuals with experience working within education or care settings who are interested in supporting others as a behaviour support tutor. You will provide quality Positive Behaviour Support (based on Applied Behaviour Analysis) as part of a team to children and young adults with Autism and Learning Difficulties, supporting individuals in various settings including the home, school placements, community, work placements, paid work, and college.
Hours per week: Full Time. Permanent position (including an element of outside standard working hours—after 5pm during evening sessions and regular weekend working). VBA would consider part-time hours; however, we require flexibility across the week to support our clients.
Full Time Basic Salary: £24,375 (once trained) + regular unsocial hours pay + additional pay as and when offered.
£13.50 per hour paid for unsocial hours element of the role.
Full UK driving licence and car essential.

Vision Beyond Autism offers successful applicants a varied role. You will support our clients in their school, college, work-based activities, leisure choices, and home life. We have a variety of children and adult clients, with some focusing on outdoor work and physical activities, and others being supported on their holiday choices/school residential holidays.
Our younger clients focus on accessing the national curriculum with our additional specialist support, which may be in school or in education elsewhere. We also offer support to some of our younger clients at home and in their local community.
We support young adults and children. These positions may/may not include working with a younger client.
Positive Behaviour Support Workers (PBS) will be supported by our clinical supervisors /UKBA(cert) or clinical supervisors working towards UKBA(cert).
We offer our employees extensive ongoing training in Positive Behaviour Support, based on Applied Behaviour Analysis. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients while progressing in the role.
