What we'll need you to bring
1. Professional qualification i.e. HNC in a relevant discipline (Business Admin/Secretarial Studies/Public Administration) or equivalent previous experience in a secretarial role (experience as a department/personal secretary)
2. Well-developed interpersonal skills in customer care.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Good organisational and planning skills.
5. Understanding of a range of procedures and processes.
6. Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure.
7. Proficient I.T. skills, which include a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
8. Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times.
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have
9. Experience working at Band 3 level within NHS
10. Experience of liaising with council departments and other statutory organisations
11. Knowledge of NHS systems and structures
12. Knowledge of housing, social work and education services and structures
13. Minute taking skills and experience
14. Ability to organise and facilitate meetings and other events
15. High level of person

This role will be based in Administration within Hunter Health Centre
The working pattern for this role Monday to Friday
