Responsibilities:
* Undertake initial assessments for new service users to ensure they receive person-centered care.
* Promptly report to the care manager any relevant issues concerning the care of service users.
* Monitor work standards of a team of care workers, including specialist teams where appropriate.
* Assist with the maintenance of records, in written or computerized format, as specified within procedures or as requested by care coordinators.
* Ensure documentation in the homes of service users complies with Balmoral Health and Social Care policies and procedures and adheres to care standards.
* Deputize in the absence of the care coordinator and care manager.
* Provide cover in other areas as and when required.
* Take part in a backup on-call rota, helping to deliver care in emergency situations.
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for an individual who is sociable, flexible, and committed, with previous experience in a care role. Holding a driver's license and having access to your own vehicle is essential.
