As our Volunteering and Community Assistant, you'll be supporting the wider team by maintaining links with the local community. This may mean supporting established community-led events.You’ll support our work in developing new ways of working together and deepening relationships with existing and new audiences. You’ll also support our teams in offering a warm welcome and working with all kinds of people. You'll be based in Mullion Cove and may help at other sites across the Lizard & Penrose area. Working alongside our community partners, Mullion Cove Harbour Group, you'll help with day-to-day harbour operations while welcoming visitors, helping ensure that they have a safe and enjoyable visit. You'll take support the Volunteering & Community Officer with the organisation of volunteers and may help with some practical maintenance tasks (full training and resources provided), you may also be asked to support with some administration tasks.
