Our colleagues in the Supply Chain – Customer Service and Logistics team, based from Media City, Salford are looking for a Customer Supply Chain Optimisation Lead.
As we’re putting our hearts and souls into the future of food, we’ll be looking at you to lead a passionate and proactive supply team focused on driving continuous improvements to deliver perfect customer service levels, in-store availability, and logistics efficiencies.
HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Leading customer supply chain engagement for Ireland and the Away From Home channel, through collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders and championing the voice of the customer in supply for these markets/channels.
* Delivery of the UK & Ireland productivity and cost to serve initiatives engaging cross-functionally to deliver savings and efficiencies through project management and effectively taking insights from data analysis to support decision making and ideation.
* Leading the team to deliver results in line with the Supply Chain and UKI market goals. Developing the team’s technical and leadership skills as well as developing and implementing longer-term strategies and processes that align with the company’s objectives.
* Leading the team to build credible strong customer relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders (Customers, Commercial, Supply, Logistics, Planning), focusing on improving our service level & maintaining on-shelf availability and accountable for continuously leading process improvements through these relationships.
* Identify and lead productivity saving opportunities across functions, collaborating with relevant stakeholders and providing actionable data through Tableau, Excel, and SAP tools.
* Lead robust governance of daily/weekly/monthly leading indicators to proactively improve Key Performance Indicators, drive root cause, and preventative actions.
* As part of the leadership team shape key priorities, raise visibility of help needed, celebrate team success, and develop future action plans through data insights. Actively participate in any leadership-led programs and regularly present to senior stakeholders.
* Lead your team’s talent management – recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and succession plans. Build capability through coaching and skills matrix progression.
* Provide support and solutions to commercial teams to effectively deliver on business priorities.

* Highly numerate, detail-conscious with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Engaging lead with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to listen effectively whilst also being able to influence others to drive customer and supply agenda. Working collaboratively and in partnership with other functions.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills - able to multi-task and make timely decisions.
