The Role This role will be responsible in selling our extensive range of IT solutions and services. CAE offers a team POD ethos to develop from within. The main focus will be to generate new business opportunity from within existing customers and new named clients in NHS and Local Government within a designated region. You will develop your own pipeline of opportunities. You will need to be able to work to your own initiative and have a hunger to succeed and to hit or exceed sales targets. This role will also be responsible for the whole sales cycle from lead generation to prospect visits, qualification, bids and close. Upon successful implementation of the sale, the account will then be handed across to the Account Management team, allowing more focus on winning and attracting new business. This Role is remote, however you will need to go into either our Warrington or Hemel Hempstead Office twice a week What you will be doing? This role will entail internal and external training, covering sales skills and vendor solutions. You will be expected to attend and pass vendor training and accreditation courses as and when required. This role will have the opportunity to be mentored by the Head of Distributed Gov South, who will be your "go-to" person for help, assistance and growth. Your main responsibilities will include; Generating new business, while managing a small portfolio of existing accounts Targeting new business through partner and consultant relationships Finding new and innovative ways of meeting the demands and needs of customers. Closing business opportunities through effective commercial negotiations Provide and deliver an exceptional service to customers. Contribution to the sales team by achieving sales targets and goals. Continuously increasing product knowledge, sales skills/techniques and commercial acumen Creating, maintaining and regularly updating a Personal Development Plan with timescales on own 'self-learning' areas and objectives Creating and working in a collaborative and rewarding environment that actively encourages company values. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good command of MS Office Packages (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel) Ability to multitask and work under pressure Desired Previous experience in new business generation Knowledge of technical solutions, particularly across enterprise networking, collaboration, security, datacentre and cloud.
