Senior Support Worker / Team Leader (Children's Home)
Salary:
Starting: £26,518 + £3,600 (Sleep-in allowance pa.) = £30,118.00 pa.
Up to: £30,240 + £3,600 (Sleep-in allowance pa.) = £33,840.00 pa.

You will be responsible for working as part of a team to provide support, nurturing, understanding and a positive role model for the children and young people placed in our Children’s Homes. Each home has 2-3 children aged between [insert age range].
You will understand their trauma, help them through difficult times and celebrate the good times. You will be responsible for recording, attending meetings, and adhering to the policies and procedures within the Home. Engaging with children and young people and inspiring them to reach their full potential through listening, activities, and educational support is key.
This role can be challenging at times but is extremely rewarding.
Person Requirements:
* Must be 21+ to apply
* Full Driving Licence
* Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check
* If you have lived or worked abroad for over 1 month, you must provide an official record/certificate/letter confirming you have undergone an Overseas (Criminality) check
* Completed or willingness to complete NVQ Level 4 in Residential Child Care

The role entails working on a shift rota, including night duties for which you will receive additional remuneration.
