Job Description
TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join a very successful firm of chartered accountants based in Orpington. In this position, you will be responsible for providing a mixed audit and accounts service to a range of corporate and not-for-profit organisations, predominately made up of academies. Our client has a fantastic reputation in the South-East, and you'll have the support of an experienced team around you too. Our client is equally open to a candidate who may not necessarily have lots of audit experience but is interested in building a career in audit & accounts. They will consider part-time and full-time candidates, and they're also open to hybrid and remote working arrangements.
* Preparing financial statements from clients' trial balance;
* Auditing all areas of financial statements and preparing audit files for review;
* Taking responsibility for all work allocated, communicating with manager and partner as necessary;
* Meeting deadlines in an efficient and effective way;
* Committed to work as part of a team, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm to help others and take initiative when needed;
* Communicating with all stakeholders with kindness, respect and supporting your team to succeed;
* Ability to provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate;
* Capacity to work on numerous jobs simultaneously;
* Desire to be part of a dynamic team.
Requirements
* You will be ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified with a strong background in audit, with demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within an accountancy practice environment as an Audit Senior / Executive or Semi Senior.
* Your experience will have been gained in any of Top Tier/Mid Tier/Top 50 or large/medium independent firm background.
* You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both internally and directly with clients, experience of supervising others and delegation of work, along with organisational skills.

* Annual salary £40K - £45K per annum (FTE), depending on experience
* Salary review annually in July
