We have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Interface & Support Officer as a 12 month secondment opportunity, your role will be to provide flexible business support to the Operational Planning Team. Will be required to deliver projects and work streams to time, quality and within budget. Managing specific pieces of work to meet objectives, ensuring relevant policies and procedures are followed. Engaging with, and motivating others to improve business delivery.
This role will be based at our National Traffic Operation Centre, with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days working from home.
* Respond to enquiries regarding data assets that feed into the National Traffic Information Service (NTIS)
* Comply with statutory and internal process and procedure administrative records using organisational systems
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders, colleagues, and customers. To promote efficiency and contribute to continuous service improvements.
* Manage National Highways Traffic Camera and CCTV applications for live streaming and still image account creation. Process applications for planned event pre-signing on Variable Message Signs (VMS) across the strategic road network, utilizing databases to provide the best customer resolutions.
* Provide detailed and comprehensive responses to customer queries regarding the National Traffic Information Service (NTIS), adhering to Customer Excellence guidelines.
About you.
* Literate in office software products, such as excel, to enable production / maintenance of a range of complex documents and spreadsheets
* Experience of interpreting data
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to work effectively in an office environment, deliver an efficient customer service, and support delivery of projects though a project office function
* Demonstrable evidence of building and maintaining effective stakeholder and customer relationships

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
