A Vacancy at Northumbria Healthcare - NHCT Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive individual to join our busy School Aged Immunisation Service. The post is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We are therefore looking for someone with experience in the school-based immunisation team and have a solid and stable background within a customer-facing environment.
You will assist in data collection and reporting alongside data inputting for the National Immunisation Programme. Therefore, you will have a working knowledge and practical application of spreadsheets, data collection and reporting, clinic bookings, and liaising with schools and other stakeholders.
Often working under pressure to meet tight deadlines, you will have to work without direct supervision; you will therefore possess excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
You will perform general admin duties and organise the admin work for the day. Other responsibilities will include answering phone calls, responding to emails, dealing with enquiries, filing, photocopying, typing, and data inputting, maintaining electronic and paper files, and other administrative duties as required.
You will also be expected to liaise with the public and colleagues (at all levels) both internal and external to the Trust. Excellent computer skills, knowledge, and/or experience of using both Excel and other databases are required, as these systems are used to record information and produce reports.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck, and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, covering one of the largest geographical areas of any NHS trust in the country. Leading in innovation and quality – opening a state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. Do you want to work in one of the best performing NHS organisations in England?
Work in an organisation that supports its staff and focuses on staff experience as much as it does the experience of its patients. You can live and breathe in an area that has the cleanest air, cost-effective living, great nightlife, some of the best schools, with a wealth of history available on your doorstep. Sound too good to be true? Well, it isn’t; this is what you get when you work for Northumbria Healthcare, this is the Northumbria Way! Please read ‘applicant guidance notes’ before submitting your application.
