Job Title: Commercial Heating Engineer
Location: RAF Lakenheath (with some travel to other local RAF bases as needed)
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our clients team. This role is primarily based at RAF Lakenheath, with occasional travel to other local RAF Bases, as and when needed. You will be responsible forcommercial Oil boilers,working both independently and as part of a team. The position involves a mix of planned maintenance and reactive repairs, ensuring mission-critical assets are kept operational. Key Responsibilities:
* Perform independent installations, inspections, and maintenance on medium- to high-temperature oil boilers.
* Troubleshoot and repair heating systems, including conducting fault tests, strip-downs, and necessary cleaning.
* Handle emergency repairs and participate in an on-call rota for mission-critical systems outside of core hours.
* Use a PDA and Maximo to schedule and complete maintenance tasks across multiple facilities.
* Ensure all tasks are completed on time and comply with relevant legislation and site requirements.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for all maintenance and repair activities.
