The role involves supporting the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in managing the day-to-day accounting for an expanding residential and commercial portfolio. The Senior Accounts Administrator will serve as the main accounts contact for key clients, manage various accounting duties such as reconciliation and reporting, and may oversee an Accounts Administrator. The package £30,000 to £34,000 (depending on experience) Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm Opportunity to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team Hands-on experience in both residential and commercial portfolios Potential for career growth within a dynamic environment Convenient location based in Horsforth Collaborative and supportive team atmosphere The role Manage accounts for key residential and commercial clients Provide support to the SLT and wider accounting team Maintain and update the accounts database Reconcile bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis Produce monthly and quarterly statements, including arrears reporting Ensure smooth operation of service charge and residential management cycles Handle HMRC returns and reporting Line manage an Accounts Administrator (NOT essential) The person Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) Knowledge of double-entry accounting practices and software Property market accounting experience (preferred) Line management experience (desirable) Adaptability and a proactive approach in a hands-on environment
