Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef De Partie at Eight at Gazegill by Doug Crampton, located in Rimington. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of food, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to high culinary standards. Duties include managing a specific section of the kitchen, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards, and assisting in menu planning and development. The position requires collaboration with other kitchen staff and active participation in maintaining kitchen inventory.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
* Experience in kitchen management and maintaining hygiene standards
* Ability to manage inventory and collaborate with kitchen staff
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn
* Relevant culinary certifications and degrees are a plus
* Prior experience in a similar role highly desirable
