We are looking for a Senior Commercial Development Manager - Lease and Fleet based in Amsterdam to join our commercial development team at Fastned. Together with over 300 colleagues (more than 40 nationalities) across 9+ countries, we have big plans: we are building a Europe-wide network of 1,000 beautiful fast-charging stations where electric drivers can charge their cars with energy from the sun and wind. Your overall responsibilities include
As Senior Commercial Development Manager at Fastned, you are responsible for driving sales with European lease organisations and leading corporates, building and maintaining client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Working closely with our Legal, Data and Finance teams, you will lead the development of the overall fleet sales strategy and represent Fastned at industry events and conferences.
So what specifically are you going to be working on?
* Developing Fastned’s overall sales and engagement strategy with European lease organisations and leading corporates
* Driving the development of channels as well as sales materials, based on a deep understanding of our offerings, and communicating them effectively to clients
* Leading initial outreach, identifying and targeting new business prospects to expand the customer base.
* Managing lead prioritisation and following up on potential sales opportunities proactively
* Driving sales negotiations, drafting contracts, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets
* Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, providing solutions that meet their needs, and working closely with our marketing team to activate the deals
* Representing Fastned’s interest at relevant industry events and staying updated on industry trends and competitor products

Who we are looking for
You are hands-on and want to do bold things while at the same time looking at the impact and effectiveness of what you are doing. This mindset helps you to make sound commercial and financial decisions. Additionally you tick the following boxes:
* We think that proven professional experience in a relevant role (e.g., sales, account management, consulting) is needed to succeed. You should demonstrate prior experience in negotiating with commercial partners, resolute, solution oriented and results driven
* You bring strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* You are goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Your organisational skills help you to manage the various projects efficiently and take commercially sound decisions
* You should have experience working with interdisciplinary teams with the ability to manage different stakeholders, both internally and externally
* Because we are an international company, fluent English is necessary, ideally you also speak one of the other relevant languages: Dutch, German, French.
Electric mobility is new territory for you?
No problem! As part of your onboarding, you will participate in a series of exciting workshops where you will learn everything important about electric driving and fast charging infrastructure.
