A fantastic interim opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to support a growing SME business in Beverley, East Yorkshire. With a salary of up to £50,000 (pro-rata for part-time) depending on experience. This role will give you the chance to work closely with the Managing Director to drive financial operations and support business growth. With this being an interim opportunity, our Client can be flexible for the right individual (full or part-time and flexible salary), as well as the opportunity potentially leading to a more permanent role.
In this Interim Financial Controller role, you will lead day-to-day financial activities, with key responsibilities including:
Production of monthly management accounts
Cashflow forecasting and budgeting
VAT and bank reconciliations
Running the monthly payroll
Working with the MD on budget planning and growth strategies
Overseeing office management and administration
Identifying and implementing process improvementsTo be successful in this Interim Financial Controller role, you’ll need:
CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (ICAEW) qualification, or be QBE with equivalent experience
A proactive, "can-do" attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to manage your own deadlines and work independently when needed
Strong systems knowledge, ideally including Xero and Excel
