Are you an experienced quality engineering with national grid / gas experience? Do you have construction / CDM / utilities background? Are you happy travelling to site where necessary? Our client supplied specialist technical engineering services into the national grid / gas plant sector and need an experinced Quality Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the company meets both thier own and clients standards. Needs Worked on large scale Construction, Design and Management projects with experience of NEC4 forms of contract. Providing support to large scale individual projects or multiple small/medium projects. You will ensure all projects are compliant with internal and client QA requirements. Proven track record of managing Quality through all stages of Design and Build projects. Experience in a similar role within Construction, Design and Management projects. Relevant and recognised Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification. Knowledge of ISO 9001, Health & Safety at Work Tasks • Assist in developing & reviewing existing the Project Quality Management system by establishing procedures, plans and work instructions as needed. • Monitor implementation of the Asset/Project/Function Quality Management System through regular audits and reviews. • Support and monitor the implementation of the companies CDM QMS on projects. • Produce Project Quality specific documentation for client acceptance such as Quality Plans, ITPs and Databooks including structures. • Develop and ensure QA requirements are incorporated into Documents, Contracts and Purchase Orders for both sub-contractors and suppliers. • Evaluate quality criteria within tender submissions and provide support during contract evaluation and award (MWCs, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers) • Monitor and report on compliance and nonconformities and maintain relevant records. Applicants with experience of the UK's Gas National Transmission System or major Gas Construction projects highly desirable.
