My client is looking for a Senior Structural Technician to join a growing design consultancy and provide ongoing technical design support to a range of clients in the UK with ongoing work available and excellent development opportunities for the right individual. As a Senior Structural Technician, you will be working on a range of residential, commercial and education projects and should be able to demonstrate experience in completing design on projects in these sectors. Within the role of a Senior Structural Technician, it will be essential for the chosen individual to complete drawings in line with the engineer’s instructions, and your input and contribution to the team are viewed as essential in the continued development of the business.
About you:
Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of experience working for UK-based design consultancies, and a background working on similar projects is desired to ensure a close match to the existing and upcoming workload. In addition to having a confident, commercial and professional outlook you should have:

* BTEC (or equivalent) in Engineering
* Minimum of 4 years UK based experience
* Experience working on residential, commercial and education projects
* Experience leading a team
* Strong analytical, communication and technical design skills
* Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
