To provide an effective and efficient storage, deliver and distribution of products from NHS Lanarkshire General Stores and National Distribution Centre to GPs, GDPS, Pharmacists, Opticians, wards, departments, and Health Centres within Lanarkshire.

What we'll need you to bring
Possess a clean valid driving license for Category C1 up to 7.5 tons
Possess Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC)
Willing to undertake the department’s statuary training program i.e. Manual handling, Spillage kit training
Commitment to ongoing personnel development as identified due to exigencies of the service
Ability to work with people as part of a multidisciplinary team,
Effective written and verbal communication skills,
Ability to carry out stores duties effectively within a changing environment
Previous experience within a Stores/Warehouse environment
It would be great if you also have
Experience within a stores/warehouse environment in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of stores / warehouse operations in a healthcare setting.
IT literate and experienced in using Microsoft software e.g. MS Word, Excel.
