As a CAD Technician, you will join our client's integrated team, supporting the design of infra and non-infra projects on the Yorkshire Water Framework from outline design through to detailed design, construction, and commissioning support.
CAD Technician Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)

CAD Technician Job Overview
* Produce 2D CAD drawings to support civil and drainage design in line with client specifications and design standards.
* Prepare design solutions at various project stages, including drawings, reports, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assist in project planning and programming, and participate in internal and external project reviews.
* Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication with team leaders, senior managers, and clients.
* Contribute to technical issue resolution, working alongside other design disciplines to ensure design integrity.
* Support innovation, professional development, and best practices while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
CAD Technician Job Requirements
* Qualified CAD Engineer, ideally with knowledge of civil and utilities design (MEICA experience would be an advantage).
* Experience in civil design, including drainage, gained from working on infrastructure projects within the UK water sector.
* Knowledge of UK Water Industry standards and Sewer Sector Guidance for drainage design.
* Proficiency in software such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civils 3D, with experience in BIM model integration being desirable.
* Strong fundamental hydraulic design skills, excellent soft skills, and a willingness to learn and develop.
* Full UK driving licence required.
