We are recruiting for a fantastic company located in Grantham, an experienced Quality Auditor to join their established team on a full time, permanent basis. As the Quality Auditor Working closely and as part of the North Division you will ensure that the people we support have the highest standards of care and support through excellent quality auditing. Auditing the quality of services and providing detailed action plans to our local teams. To be a champion for exceptional care and support; including a person-centred ethos in every aspect of the role.
Your duties shall include, but not limited to:-
- Be able to provide a critical review of the status of care and support delivery within a service
- Audit, action planning and review
- Be able to provide a critical review of the status of care delivery within a service, provide guidance and assistance on remedial action planning and then revisit services to test whether plans have been implemented and quality improvements achieved
- Responsible for delivery of the quality audit programme, including undertaking regular quality audits, spot checks, writing reports, producing recommendations, recording actions on Access
- Provide guidance on remedial action planning and drive change to ensure standards are understood and met
- Work in partnership with internal colleagues to improve quality across a designated group of services with a clear focus on delivering personalised care and support
- Be aware and have an understanding of the standards set by CQC and each Local Authority monitoring tools and support services to prepare for inspection and contract monitoring
- Provide monitoring and reporting data on quality to facilitate effective decision making.This will include analysing data, identifying and highlighting risks and concerns along with making recommendations for improvement
- Ensure that Employee Guardians play an active role in quality monitoring of services, this will include working alongside and supporting our quality checkers
- Revisit services to evidence that action plans are been implemented and quality improvements are being achieved
- Support operational Innovation and good practice to support culture change within the organisation
- Taking an active part in the shared on-call for the Division.
Qualifications/Education/Training:-
- Desirable NVQ Level 3 in adult care - advanced level or equivalent qualifications or working towards
- Proficient in MS Office and web-based services
- Enhanced Check for Regulated Activity
Experience:-
- Experience of managing a care or support related service
- Experience of carrying out or being subject to regulated activity/inspections
- A commitment to delivering person centred approaches personalised support
- Can identify innovative practice and share learning effectively with colleagues

- Working flexibly in accordance with needs of post, occasional evenings and weekends
- Able to work as part of a dispersed team of colleagues
- Full Driving Licence
Salary:-
To be discussed at interview stage and dependant on experience.
Hours of work: 38 hours per week (Flexible start and finish times)
