Registered Manager - Residential Care Home for Adults with Learning Disabilities
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Location: Coalville, Leicestershire
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility required to meet the needs of service users. This includes off-site on-call responsibilities, as well as evening, night-time, and weekend visits.

We are looking for a Registered Manager for our 18-bed, specialised Learning Disability (LD) service is based in Coalville, Leicestershire. We are committed to offering a person-centred, supportive, and inclusive environment for adults with learning disabilities.
About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the overall management of the Care Home, including budget management and resource allocation. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, delivering high-quality, person-centred care, and leading your team by example.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster positive relationships with regulatory bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC), ensuring compliance with Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.
Provide hands-on leadership to the staff team through supervision, role modelling, and by ensuring adherence to Rushcliffe Care Group's values and policies.
Oversee the management of service user care, including care planning, multidisciplinary collaboration, and overseeing assessments and admissions.
Ensure that health and safety standards are upheld, manage risk assessments, and maintain a safe, supportive environment for service users, staff, and visitors.
Promote continuous professional development for staff by coordinating training, supervision, appraisals, and performance reviews.
Uphold the 7 Ethical Standards of Public Life: selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty, and leadership, which guide all decisions and actions within the service.
About You
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated leader with substantial experience in a managerial role within a relevant care setting. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Essential:
Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification (or equivalent).
Significant experience in a leadership role within a care environment.
Desirable:
Knowledge and experience in Learning Disabilities (LD) settings, including experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern.
Experience in managing care plans that foster independence and person-centred outcomes.
