Job overview
We are looking for a clerical team member to assist with the provision of a comprehensive clerical and office support service to the locality-based Facilities team, supporting their day-to-day responsibilities to ensure that priorities are delivered accurately, timely, and effectively. Communicates with organisations and individuals from outside of the Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
1. The Clerical Assistant should have either an ECDL or equivalent experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel packages.
2. Experience with electronic Ordering systems such as Oracle is advantageous, as it is used to order incoming goods and receipt invoices for Ysbyty Gwynedd and 8 community sites.
3. Be the first point of contact for the Facilities Management team by telephone, e-mail, and correspondence, or for their visitors or members of the public making contact with them.
4. Deal with enquiries, message taking and redirecting as appropriate.
5. Assist with taking receipt of goods, booking in and receipting items using the Oracle Ordering System, checking delivery notes against and ensuring records are maintained accordingly and items kept secure.
