Job Description
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
* Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations
* Audit tasks ownership
* Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
* Assist with tax audits and tax returns
* Support month-end and year-end close processes
* Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
* Develop and document business processes and accounting policies
* Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
* A professional certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) or part-qualified
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role
* Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
* Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
* Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
