Internal Auditor We're currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor to join our Group Internal Audit & Risk Team. This role will entail working closely with our Internal Audit function to execute audit tasks that support the delivery of internal audits within the annual Audit Plan. Location : Travel to the office and project sites expected Hours : 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us Contract : Permanent, full-time and able to consider part-time opportunities Responsibilities As an Internal Auditor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Assisting in the conduct of operational and financial internal audits across Kier's businesses. Scoping, planning and analysing data for audits and agreeing all aspects with key stakeholders. Preparing audit reports with proposed actions and agreeing draft reports with key stakeholders. Liaising with action owners, to understand progress on actions including escalating overdue actions where required. Assisting the Group Risk team with maintenance of the Group risk framework. Developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships to build a ‘business partnership' culture. What are we looking for? This role of Internal Auditor is great for you if you have: Relevant university degree or professional qualification with experience within an Internal Audit or Finance related role. Strong analytical, communication and report writing skills. Self-starter and committed team player. An ability to positively interact with a diverse set of stakeholders at all levels within the business. Proficient in using Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience in using data analytics tools.
