Main responsibilities of the role
1. Pursue sales leads, visit existing customers, assess customer needs, suggest appropriate products and services, promote products, and conclude orders.
2. Respond to customer inquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times within authority limits, and finalize sales orders to meet revenue targets. Act as the primary contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
3. Identify, research, and contact prospective customers, building positive relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
4. Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and competitor activity to relevant internal contacts to adapt to market conditions and customer demands.
5. Establish and prioritize sales plans (annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly), schedule activities to meet targets, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Forecast and track key account metrics.
6. Make offers, update digital customer files, and provide weekly pipeline information for strategic planning.
