We're looking for a Plant Inspector to join the INEOS Acetyls team. We need highly motivated individuals who want to be part of our growing business. You will be based at the Hull site, which is the largest producer of acetic acid, acetic anhydride and ethyl acetate in Europe. The products we produce are essential building blocks used in almost every industry, including renewable power, automotive, pharmaceuticals, coatings and textiles.
Hull is also home to the business's global Technology Development and Support Team and is based on the 370-acre Salt End Chemicals Park - a cluster of world-class chemicals and renewable energy businesses at the heart of the UK's energy estuary.

The Opportunity
As the Plant Inspector, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution and reporting of mechanical pressure equipment inspections to ensure compliance with Statutory requirements and Ineos requirements for Safe, Reliable Operations.

Key accountabilities
• Managing Inspection portfolio for a specific plant area
• Writing Inspection & Test Plans
• Preparing and Completing Inspections according to schedule
• Analysing NDT results
• Updating Risk Based Inspection assessments
• Completing Inspection reporting & scheduling
• Planning and executing inspections for plant Turnarounds
• Updating the Inspection Data Management System
About you
We are looking for someone who has experience working as a Cat 2 Plant Inspector (Pressure Vessels, Pipework, Tanks, Relief Devices) with a HNC in a mechanical discipline.
The successful candidate will have in depth knowledge of legislation, codes and standards related to mechanical equipment integrity along with an in-depth knowledge of Risk Based Inspections.You will have a methodical approach to problem solving with an ability to understand the difference between urgency and importance and will be innovative and forward thinking. The ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and influence effectively is key, which means you will have excellent communication skills. The ability to balance conflicting demands in a continuously developing environment is also essential
