We are seeking a talented and motivated Microsoft Azure and M365 Consultant with a strong focus on Unified Communications to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimising cutting-edge cloud solutions that drive collaboration and productivity within organisations. Your expertise in Microsoft Cloud technologies will be pivotal in helping clients transform their business operations, improve efficiency, and ensure robust security and compliance. As an integral part of our client-facing team, you will work closely with customers to develop tailored strategies, manage migrations, and provide ongoing support to ensure the successful adoption and continuous optimisation of Azure, Microsoft 365, and Unified Communications platforms. Key Responsibilities: Consultation & Strategy: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and design tailored strategies using Microsoft Azure and M365 services. Develop and refine cloud transformation roadmaps to enhance collaboration and communication. Solution Design: Produce high and detailed designs for Microsoft Cloud solutions, including Teams Telephony, ensuring they align with business requirements and best practices. Contribute to the development of the cloud practices portfolio of off-the-shelf solutions. Implementation & Migration: Lead the deployment of Teams Phone systems, including Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and Teams Calling Plans. Oversee migration projects from legacy telephony systems to Teams Telephony, ensuring minimal business disruption and high-quality service delivery. Integration: Integrate Microsoft Cloud solutions with existing IT infrastructure and third-party applications, enabling seamless collaboration and operational efficiency. Training & Adoption: Conduct training sessions and create comprehensive documentation to promote user adoption and maximise the value of the clients investment in M365 and Unified Communications. Essential Knowledge & Skills: Proven experience in Azure and M365 solution design, deployment, and migration, including cross-tenant and IAAS/PAAS/SAAS solutions. Hands-on experience configuring Teams Telephony solutions and integrating Skype for Business to Teams. Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID In-depth knowledge of M365 services including Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business. Understanding of network requirements for Unified Communications, including QoS, bandwidth management, and firewall configuration Familiarity with Microsoft MDM, AutoPilot, and Device Management. Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, and other cloud security technologies. Experience with Session Border Controllers and Teamslink is a plus. Knowledge of security practices for Azure and M365, including DLP, ATP, identity management, and data protection compliance. Desirable Skills: DevOps & Automation: Familiarity with DevOps practices, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, PowerShell, and automation scripting. Monitoring & Management: Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Power Platform: Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to create business solutions. Certifications: Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-700, AZ-140, or willingness to pursue these. Additional Requirements Security Clearance or willingness to obtain it.
