Experienced office administrator required for our fantastic Hinckley based client, who specialise in the engineering field.
We are currently seeking experienced office administrators to help support our Hinckley based client, who are a leader in specialist engineering installations, offering their quality service worldwide.
As an office administrator, your main role is to provide administrative support to your team and the senior office administrator. You will work together to ensure the smooth running of the office day-to-day.
Daily tasks will include (but are not limited to):
1. Filing and retrieving all manner of information and documents
2. Inputting all appropriate data timely and correctly
3. Drafting, typing and proofreading letters and quotes
4. Managing internal diaries
5. Arranging travel (booking flights, taxis, applying for visas, etc.)
6. Answering internal calls and offering excellent customer service
7. Taking appropriate messages and ensuring they reach the right person
8. Making outbound calls to clients, customers and ensuring any queries are resolved
9. Sales order processing and stock control (system used is Sage 1000)
10. Liaising with import/export companies and dealing with transport
11. Processing purchase orders, credit card transactions and invoices
12. Sending out literature (including mail shots)
