The Workshop is delighted to be recruiting for a Bids & Tenders Assistant for a local Romsey design and build/construction company. Working with the MD, you will be part of a small but vibrant bespoke organisation.
We are looking for a Bid Assistant to join our team. This is a critical business role with a focus on administrative responsibilities. We're looking for the right person to fit into a small team and want to give equal opportunity to people from all walks of life; therefore, we are open to considering both full- and part-time roles.

What you will be doing as the Bids and Tenders Assistant
1. Creating tender/bid documents: This is our proposal to prospective clients, containing all the information about what we will do, how we will do it, and why the client should work with us. Therefore, this is an essential part of showing the local community what the construction has to offer.
2. Researching and Screening for new opportunities: Clients in both the public and private sector are always putting up new opportunities. It's the Bid Assistant's job to search these databases for jobs that fit the construction company's profile.
3. Administration: Maintaining status as a construction partner of choice within the local community requires a lot of crossing T's and dotting I's. It's vital that we maintain all our accreditations and carry out our legal responsibilities promptly.
What are we looking for in the Bids and Tenders Assistant:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (essential).
2. Experience with Monday.com (desirable).
3. Previous exposure to the construction industry (desirable).
