How you will make an impact
As an Account Handler at ClearGroup, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our clients, managing their insurance portfolios, and supporting the team in delivering bespoke insurance solutions. Working collaboratively with Account Executives, you will help to retain and grow client relationships while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and compliance. Your role will be vital in driving operational excellence and contributing to the success of our Leamington Spa team.
We’re looking for an organised individual with a proven background in insurance account handling. You have exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service. Ideally, you’ll have experience in commercial insurance and knowledge of the following classes of insurance: Property, Casualty, Motor, Professional Negligence including Cyber and Management Liability for a variety of trades/industries. Aligned with a strong understanding of compliance requirements, but most importantly, you thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to grow within our team.

Key Responsibilities
* Client Management – Provide prompt, professional support to clients, ensuring seamless policy preparation, renewals, and expert coverage advice.
* Policy Administration – Accurately process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Insurer Negotiation – Secure favourable terms by liaising with insurers and negotiating premiums and coverage to best serve client needs.
* Compliance & Regulation – Maintain adherence to FCA regulations, Consumer Duty obligations, and company policies while staying updated on industry changes.
* Collaboration & Teamwork – Work closely with colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
About You
Attributes, Skills, Qualifications
Candidates must meet the essential criteria through relevant experience or demonstrated transferable skills. However, desirable attributes, skills, and qualifications will be considered a strong advantage.
* Experience in a similar account handling role within the insurance sector.
* Knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
* Proficiency with insurance platforms and client management systems.
* Strong understanding of compliance responsibilities, including FCA regulations and Consumer Duty obligations.
* ACII qualification or a willingness to work towards it.
* Experience with Acturis or similar systems.
