Maintenance Assistant Maintenance Assistant Summary Maintenance Assistant St Giles View £12.27 per hour 37.5 hours per week Paid breaks and meals provided while on duty in our care homes Not for Profit Care Provider Brendoncare are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the maintenance and upkeep of the site in accordance with published policies and required standards. To ensure the smooth operation of all building and site services.. In this role, you can expect to: Assist the Maintenance Supervisor as required in conducting regular routine checks of the building and facilities and keeping up to date records of inspections and maintenance relating to the building, grounds and equipment, in accordance with legal, corporate and local requirements. Assist the Maintenance Supervisor as required in liaising with appointed contractors. Assist the Maintenance Supervisor as required in liaising with approved suppliers. Undertake redecoration of the Care Centre as required including the redecoration of void rooms prior to re-letting. Maintain and repair furniture fittings and equipment, including garden furniture and equipment, as required and in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions. Works to be carried out either by specialist contractors or directly in person according to competence and/or training provided by the supplier. Undertake grounds maintenance; including weeding, planting, keeping lawns neatly mowed and edged, litter-picking, sweeping and generally ensuring car park and grounds are kept neat and tidy.
