Electronics Technician - North Cambridge £(phone number removed) + Bonus
A client of nGenium is looking to hire an Electronics Technician to work on the assembly, production, and testing of their scientific devices. The successful engineer will be building a dedicated pilot line for the assembly and testing of the device and will be part of the setup and operation of this facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assembly of PCBs within devices.
2. Testing of accelerometers with production test procedures.
3. Packaging of devices.
4. Clear documentation and stock keeping of accelerometers including ordering parts.
5. Recording of test results and data entry.
6. Quality control of product.
Experience Required:
1. Science or Engineering graduate or equivalent work experience of more than 2 years in electronics/laboratory environment/cleanroom.
2. Electronics and PCB soldering and assembly.
3. Data analysis using a programming language such as Python.
4. Experience with automation of test equipment would be an advantage (e.g., with the use of Python or LabVIEW).

1. Good interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven ability to function as part of a team.
2. Proactive personality.
3. Attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
4. An excellent working knowledge of English.
5. Ability to travel to device production facilities and customer site visits.
