Position: Junior Workplace Developer
A Junior Workplace Developer will develop internal applications to support key business functions. Working closely with the existing building management software, you will collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements, create and design the UX (user experience), and develop and test mobile applications while managing them through the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).
In this role, it is critical to identify and anticipate changes in technology that may have either a positive or negative impact, offering alternate or future solutions to consider and adopt. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who operates with a sense of urgency while demonstrating flexibility and openness to learning new and exciting technology skills. The role demands high levels of trust, confidence, and professionalism at all times.
An on-site presence and travel to other office locations will be required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Experience in developing applications for Apple iOS devices with Xcode.
* Experience in Swift or Swift UI.
* Linux and Golang server experience.
* Integration with 3rd party web services and APIs.
* Continuous development and integration.
* Code management and version control.
* Strong knowledge of application development technologies, both native and hybrid.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
* Educated to degree level or similar discipline.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing software for iOS applications.
* Designing applications using native features.
* Managing the end-to-end SDLC.
* Testing and quality assurance of the internal applications.
* Releasing and managing software.
* Troubleshooting and application support.
* Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends.
