EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting skilled CNC Turners to join a precision engineering company located in Nottingham, working on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances; therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.
Key Benefits on offer:
1. Hourly Rate: Circa £17 per hour
2. Monday - Wednesday 6am - 4.30pm, Thursday 6am - 3.30pm
3. Overtime is available at premium rates (x1.5 after 39 hours and x2 on Sundays)

Your responsibilities include:
1. Setting and Operating Twin Turret, Twin Spindle CNC Turning machines
2. Machining small to medium-sized, complex components using materials such as Aluminium, Stainless steel, and Titanium
3. Working from Engineering drawings
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
1. Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Turner
2. Experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC machines
3. Twin Turret, Twin Spindle experience would be desirable but not essential
4. Experience working with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol
5. Previous machining of complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc.
6. Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium
7. Experience with machining to tight tolerances
