Deputy Supervisor (Manufacturing)
Based at Huncoat, Nr Accrington

We are currently looking to recruit a Deputy Supervisorworking in our fast paced Export Packing department responsible for assisting Supervisor in running and managing the department and working as a member of the team ensuring quality and quantity of products meets the production schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage stock picking process, ensuring US excel tracker sheet is updated.
* Manage packing standards and processes, ensuring all components are packed in line with quality standards.
* Identify improvements and implement packaging development initiatives.
* Provide quality feedback for both the US and UK logistics teams.
* Lead the Packaging team covering areas including; staff training, development and HR.
* Manage shortages; build relationship with the purchasing dept. supply real time information and updates on shortage lines.
* Liaise with QC to ensure all agreed lines are QC checked pre-despatch.
* Manage Non Conformance Report, ensuring all NCR’s raised are closed out with adequate corrective actions in place to prevent further issues.
* Work closely with export packing to ensure labour efficiency and shared resources are effectively managed.
* Play active role in CI projects within the department.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
* Previous team leader or supervisory experience.
* Strong organisational skills, solutions focused.
* A keen eye for detail and driving quality.
* Able to achieve results through team working.
* Experience using MS packages (Excel).
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
* Driving Licence (Desirable).
Working Hours:
7.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 7.00am – 12.45pm
