Job Title: Quantum Computing FPGA Engineer
We are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to join our team at enable Technology in Oxford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing FPGA systems for various applications related to cyber security and computing, including communication, HPC, simulations, and automotive systems.
A competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum is offered, along with a benefits package tailored to individual needs, including 25 days holiday, a healthy pension scheme, and potential share options.
Required skills and qualifications include a degree or relevant education in Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar, as well as proven FPGA expertise, SoC architecture, digital/analog hardware interfaces, signal processing, algorithm design and optimisation, VHDL, Verilog, Xilinx, System Verilog, UVM, embedded software development, C/C++, simulation tooling, ModelSim, QuestaSim, and familiarity with quantum computing, photonics, or cryptography.
Key responsibilities include engaging with the software and hardware teams to ensure high-level FPGA architecture, building simulations to ensure functional compliance, preparing meaningful documentation for scalability, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
