Lead Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
We are seeking a skilled Lead Engineer with an Electrical or Mechanical background to oversee the operations at a critical site in Aylesbury. This is an exciting leadership role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of essential systems on site, without the requirement for call-out duties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the team in providing expert technical support and guidance for all electrical or mechanical systems on site.
2. Oversee and perform PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance for site systems.
3. Manage and prioritise workload effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
4. Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained, and all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations.
5. Coordinate with management and team members to support operational needs and ensure seamless functionality across the site.
6. Provide hands-on maintenance support where necessary.
Key Requirements:
1. Electrical or Mechanical background with proven leadership experience.
2. Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
3. Strong technical knowledge and experience in maintaining critical site systems.
4. Excellent communication skills, both with the team and management.
5. Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
6. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance.
