We are looking for a personal assistant to support a young gentleman to access the community. He attends the gym regularly and also enjoys visiting museums and going out for walks/lunch.
Our client has a keen interest in horticulture and gaming so somebody with similar interests would be ideal. Possibly would also like the opportunity, to one-day visit further afield with their personal assistant but this wouldn’t be a regular occurrence.
The ideal candidate will support our client in making healthy food choices and reminders of portion control due to his size. This is due to a pending heath condition.
The role is for an average of 10hrs per week offering a generous £12.50 per hour. You will have access to a workplace pension and 5.6weeks paid holiday entitlement per annum. The hours would need to be worked flexibly.
We are looking for a compassionate, understanding, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
Previous experience or understanding of autism/ADHD is desirable but not essential, however a positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
DBS check is mandatory at the cost of the employer.
Car driver is desirable including proof of business cover.
