Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale E: £4,634 to £4,940 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£25,584 - £27,269 full time/full year equivalent)
Part Time: 7.5 hours per week / 1 day (Tuesday) (Please see below in regard to mandatory training.)
Working Weeks: Term Time plus 2 weeks (40 weeks)

The role will require you to help to develop and maintain effective and supportive relationships with the students you work with, and have a calm, clear and consistent approach to working with young people. You will need to deliver the Thinking Reading programme with a high degree of fidelity and engage in the required training in order to be able to do this successfully.
The successful applicants will have:
* Good ICT, numeracy, and literacy skills
* Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
* Ability to evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities
* General understanding of National Curriculum and other basic learning programmes

In addition to the advertised regular working day of Tuesday each week, candidates must ensure they can attend mandatory training for this role. Training will be held over three to four days each week (Monday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday) during the weeks commencing 12th and 19th of May, totalling six to eight days. Unfortunately we cannot accept applications from candidates who cannot attend these sessions.
