About the Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and forward-thinking Content Manager to join High Performance as we approach our next stage of growth.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience growing and managing content channels, with a deep understanding of the key metrics for audience retention and community growth, as well as some graphic and video-editing experience. This position also requires a strong ability to analyse, interpret, and report on data, with proficiency in data manipulation and presentation to drive informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
* App content strategy - Develop and execute a content strategy alongside High Performance Podcast employees for optimal downloads, subscription growth and retention
* Upload & schedule content - Ensure all content is uploaded and scheduled on time with correct packaging and partner requirements.
* App content merchandising - Ensure the content is merchandised and uploaded for user engagement, using data to drive decisions
* Video editing - Identify and edit segments from full episodes using Adobe Premiere and Ai tools (such as Opus), keeping consistent with High Performance branded content.
* CRM management - Execution of Push Notifications, SMS and other CRM management tools
* Marketing - Develop and oversee the marketing strategy and execution, alongside the Marketing team, to drive downloads, subscription and retention
* Create engaging copy & thumbnails - Create and optimise copy and thumbnails to improve user engagement.
* Data analysis and reporting - Track and analyse user engagement to assess content performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
* Data-driven topics and themes - Suggest trending and topical themes specifically for the High Performance App.
Skills & Experience:
* Video editing and graphic design experience, along with a desire to learn more.
* Experience with a Content Management System e.g. Contentful to manage and load in content
* Ability to source and interpret data driven reports.
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational and communication skills, and an impeccable attention to detail.
* Ability to work unsupervised, resolving problems, making sound decisions and knowing when to refer upwards.
* Experience of reacting to constant changes in priorities and reorganising workload to meet changing deadlines.
