An opportunity has arisen for a Urology Clerk to join our small but enthusiastic team who work in a very busy department.
The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills, a good telephone manner, a caring attitude and the ability to work well under pressure. They will need a very keen eye for detail to support clinical activity with well prepared clinic notes.
The role includes clinical note preparation for patients attending our Out Patient clinics. Tracking notes after clinic and delivering them to health records
The successful will also support the reception at peak times or to cover annual leave. Be able to book patients as attending their clinic appointment, carefully recording the outcome and making any follow up appointments.
Liaising with other departments.
Answering telephone enquiries and at times direct patients to correct clinic locations and mange "walk in" enquiries.
