Job Title: Locum Physiotherapist Banding: Band 6 Location: London Working Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 15 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 Weeks Rate: £24-27 per hour Opening Paragraph: We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist to join our team in London. This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled physiotherapist with experience in emergency department (ED) and short stay settings. You will be working on a part-time basis, covering weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), with a total of 15 hours per week for a 12-week duration. This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist looking to contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing vital support to patients in the ED and short-stay wards. Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for providing physiotherapy services to patients in the Emergency Department and Shortstay units. You will assess, plan, and deliver treatment for patients with a variety of conditions, ensuring a person-centered approach to care. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely rehabilitation and discharge planning, as well as providing expert advice and guidance to patients and their families. Your caseload will involve patients with acute conditions, and you will be expected to maintain accurate documentation and contribute to ongoing care plan reviews. This role also offers the opportunity to develop skills in fast-paced environments while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Physiotherapist with current HCPC registration Experience in ED and short-stay settings is highly desirable Strong clinical knowledge in assessing and treating acute conditions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Why work with Pulse?
