Job Summary: Experienced women's Buyer to manage footwear and accessories categories, covering product development, range building, and supplier negotiations.
* Develop commercial ranges reflecting the brand's aesthetics.
* Build ranges with strong analytical and creative skills, using data analysis to drive decision-making.
* Identify best-selling styles and manage the critical path to ensure timely delivery.
* Improve category bought-in margin through supplier negotiations and re-sourcing.
* Source and select suppliers to deliver the right products at the right time.
* Maximise best sellers by developing additional styles and reducing risk buying.
* Complete buying trips and present to the management team on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.
* Responsible for fitting the footwear range and feeding back fit requirements to suppliers.
Requirements:
* Commercial fashion eye with understanding of the brand's aesthetics and customers.
* Experience in trading an ecommerce department to maximise sales.
* Problem-solving skills under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to adapt to change and improve processes.
* Strong communication and time management skills.
* Experience with test and repeat ecommerce buying model and buying for high street footwear brands.
